This is why i'm typically brought in

In the below situations, the issue is rarely just the surface problem.  It's that the system underneath isn't able to properly handle the load it is under.

People & Performance

  • Things are working - but not holding
  • Pressure is building behind results
  • Decision-making becoming reactive or strained
  • Patterns repeating without resolution
  • Something is off, but it's hard to explain

Horses & Animals (wild & domestic)

  • Weight not holding despite proper feeding
  • Behavior changes or resistance
  • Poor recovery or inconsistency
  • Performance decline without clear cause
  • Something feels off, but no clear answer

what i actually do

I don't start with the surface problem.  I look at whether the system can actually process what it's under -  stress, load environment, and timing.

When that stabilizes, behavior, performance, and physical outcomes begin to change -

and more importantly, they start to hold.

What this looks like in practice

Example -- Horse

Senior horse with ongoing weight instability despite correct feeding and care.

Focus placed on stabilizing stress response, load tolerance, and recovery patterns over several weeks.

Eating normalized, weight began to return, behavior settled.

Example -- Performance/Human

High-performing individual with strong output--but increasing pressure, inconsistency, and decision fatigue.

Focus placed on stabilizing response to load, improving recovery, and reducing internal friction.

Decisions became clearer, pressure reduced, and performance stabilized.

start with a focused evaluation

We start by identifying what's actually causing the instability--before trying to fix it.

This is a structured evaluation of:

  • stress load
  • response patterns
  • environment
  • timing and pressure points

If there is a clear path forward, we determine next steps--including whether on going advisory is appropriate.
